With Yakpads selling across the USA and in Canada, some people have
been nice enough to let us know how much they've enjoyed their Yakpads.
Here's a sampling of what some customers have to say:
|
I
just want to tell you that I bought your YakPad seat at Paddlefest
this May in Inlet, NY and couldn't have made a better purchase. As
a matter of fact, i bought two---one for me and one for my husband.
I had bought a cheaper gel filled seat and was very disappointed with
it because the gel all moved to one side or the other. But your seat
pad did not. We were never able to paddle long because we were forever
trying to find a comfortable position to sit in without getting numb.
When we put your YakPads in our kayaks, I wasn't really expecting
alot to be different, but that was not the case. My husband and I
paddled the Moose River in the Adirondacks this summer and paddled
for hours before we realized that we weren't figeting for a comfortable
seat position. Now we were able to enjoy the scenery in comfort. You
have a great product. Its the best so far for our needs. Keep up the
great work.........Happy Paddling.........

Skip & Chuck:
My new gel-filled Paddle Saddle with low backrest was delivered last
Thursday as you promised. Thank you! I used it to replace the padded
seat that came with my Dagger Savannah to which I had already added
a layer of foam from an old life jacket.
Usually the thin flesh covering my two butt bones hurts as the bones
try to make an impression in whatever I sit in or on, whether it be
hard or soft. I judge that I have caused this problem from working
too many years in front of a computer. A pillow accompanies me almost
everywhere I go and hard wooden or plastic chairs are not even an
option.
My first ride with the new gel-filled seat cushion was on the Mulberry
river in Arkansas and I discovered your Paddle Saddle to be a significant
improvement over anything I had tried previously. This trip lasted
4-5 hours, with several breaks, and I ended up with no more pain from
sitting in the kayak than I do from sitting in my expensive ergonomic
office chair. I am now looking for a backrest modification that will
permit me to install a paddle saddle in my whitewater kayak and I
am considering building an adjustable camp chair that can accommodate
your high backrest model. Thanks a million.

Hi
Chuck and Skip,
I just wanted to say thanks for creating yakpads! I have achilles
tendonitis in both heels and now find that paddling is once again
a true pleasure! I can paddle much longer and enjoy it more. Thanks
again,
